Achievements & Rank Advancement

Cub scouts advance rank by completing the required achievements for their age or grade level as outlined in their rank’s handbook.  When an achievement is completed they will also typically earn an adventure loop (Lion, Tiger, Wolf & Bear) to be worn on their belt or pins (Webelos & AOL) to be pinned to their colors.  At the end of the program year, if the scout has completed all of the required achievements then they will crossover to the next rank/den.  Additionally, scouts can complete elective achievements to earn additional adventure loops or pins.
