Big Chill Camping 2027
All Pack 1 families are invited to join us on our annual Big Chill camping trip January 29th-January 31st, a two-night camping trip at the Rodney Scout Reservation.
This will be a large cabin trip, with heating, and bunk style beds. Top bunks have integrated side rails to keep Scouts in! A bathhouse (hot water) with independent showers, commodes & sinks will also be available.
Please pack to keep warm during the days & especially at night! Plan for warm & cold & wet & dry weather!
Pack 1 will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday morning.
We’ll have a campfire program with a US Flag Retirement Ceremony as well.
Individual Dens will be hosting “Cracker-Barrel” on Friday evening.
Saturday will have a hike up & over “Bull Mountain” plus stops at the Trading Post & Gaga Ball pit.

This camping trip is always a Scout favorite!
Spots are limited, only 68 bunks are available.
Cost: $65/adult, Scouts are free. $25/additional youth &/or siblings.
Requirements to attend:
- Purchase tickets to reserve your spot prior to attending. Please also reserve for your Scouts, even with no cost!
- Complete and submit medical forms Part A & B for each person attending the trip, Adult, Scout & Youth. Pre-Submit your activity forms too for the hike.
