DESCRIPTION:RSVP Required\, Limited Space Event.  \nAll Pack 1 families are invited to join us on our annual Big Chill camping trip January 30th-February 1st\, a two-night camping trip at the Rodney Scout Reservation. \nThis will be a large cabin trip\, with wood fired stove heating\, and bunk style beds. Top bunks have integrated side rails to keep Scouts in! A bathhouse (hot water) will also be available. \nPlease pack to keep warm during the days & especially at night! Plan/Pack for warm & cold & wet & dry weather! \nPack 1 will provide breakfast\, lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday morning. \nWe’ll have an amazing Campfire Program with a US Flag Retirement Ceremony as well. \nIndividual Dens will be hosting “Cracker-Barrel” (snacks) on Friday evening. \nSaturday will have a hike up & over “Bull Mountain” plus stops at the Trading Post & Gaga Ball pit. \nFor information on what items to bring\, please see our handy checklist. \nThis camping trip is always a Scout favorite! \nSpots are limited\, only 72 beds are available. \nDue to the overwhelmingly successful Popcorn Fundraiser\, Pack One is covering 99% of the costs! \nCost: $1/adult\, $1/youth. \nRequirements to attend: \n\nPurchase tickets to reserve your spot prior to attending. DESCRIPTION:AOL Den Presents Downs Park Camping Trip\n  \n\nDowns Park – October 4th-5th 2025\n\n\n8311 John Downs Loop\, Pasadena\, MD 21122\n\nSituated on the Chesapeake Bay\, Downs Park offers a variety of natural and recreational activities throughout its 236 acres. Downs Park offers more than five miles of paved and natural trails. \n\nDowns Park offers a fishing pier\, children’s playground\, two basketball courts and an amazing view of the Chesapeake Bay. Reserve one of the three large outdoor pavilions for groups up to 100 people and one small pavilion for up to 50 people. A wedding garden\, youth camping area and the Chesapeake Room are available for rent. Downs Park offers an amazing spot to launch a kayak at the Locust Cove Cartop Boat Launch.\nThe park property has a rich history which has been preserved by the Downs Park Historical Society. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend the 2024 AOL planned camping trip at Camp Snyder in Haymarket\, Virginia. This trip is open to all Pack One Scouts & Families\, but space is limited to 46 spots. \nLocated in Prince William County Virginia\, Camp William B. Snyder encompasses 350-acres including a managed wetland. A premier camping location within the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America\, the facility has been open to Cub Scouts\, Boy Scouts\, Venturers and community organizations since 2006. \nA visit to the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center is planned; \n \nThe Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the museum in Washington\, D.C. Hundreds of historically significant air- and spacecraft\, along with thousands of small artifacts\, are on display in an open\, hangar-like setting. Other features of the Center include the Donald D. Engen Observation Tower\, the Airbus IMAX Theater\, and the Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar\, where visitors can watch museum specialists at work restoring artifacts. See the Space Shuttle Discovery; B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay; Concorde\, Lockheed Martin SR-71 Blackbird & Boeing Stratoliner to name a few. \nCOST: $30 per adult\, Youth are FREE includes Saturday Breakfast\, Lunch & Dinner\, Sunday Breakfast. While we encourage you to spend either Saturday night or both Friday & Saturday nights\, all Scouts & Families are welcome to join us for activities on Saturday. Our Campfire program will be on Saturday evening. The campground has indoor restrooms\, plus a bathhouse nearby. Meals will be provided for Saturday breakfast\, lunch & dinner\, plus Sunday breakfast.
