Please reach out to Pack Leadership if the event is sold out. \nThe Delaware Bay Evening Cruise\, although not narrated\, offers our guests stunning views of popular local attractions such as the East End Lighthouse\, Cape Henlopen Point\, the Cape May Lewes Ferry terminal\, Lewes Beach\, and Cape Henlopen State Park\, just to name a few. \nThis popular cruise operates from Anglers Fishing Center\, sailing into the Delaware Bay via the Roosevelt Inlet. Please check your departure time upon making reservations\, as they will vary with the changing sunset times throughout the season. \nIf there are unfavorable wind or wave conditions on the bay\, this cruise will remain in the sheltered waters of the Broadkill River and/or Lewes-Rehoboth canal. Join us for beautiful views of some of our most popular local attractions\, and the chance to see wildlife and enjoy the sunset. \nActivity (Class B) uniforms preferred\, but not required. \nThe Dock is located in Lewes\, take Route 9 East. Cross the drawbridge and make an immediate left onto Anglers Road. DESCRIPTION:RSVP Required\, Limited Space Event.  \nAll Pack 1 families are invited to join us on our annual Big Chill camping trip January 30th-February 1st\, a two-night camping trip at the Rodney Scout Reservation. \nThis will be a large cabin trip\, with wood fired stove heating\, and bunk style beds. Top bunks have integrated side rails to keep Scouts in! A bathhouse (hot water) will also be available. \nPlease pack to keep warm during the days & especially at night! Plan/Pack for warm & cold & wet & dry weather! \nPack 1 will provide breakfast\, lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday morning. \nWe’ll have an amazing Campfire Program with a US Flag Retirement Ceremony as well. \nIndividual Dens will be hosting “Cracker-Barrel” (snacks) on Friday evening. \nSaturday will have a hike up & over “Bull Mountain” plus stops at the Trading Post & Gaga Ball pit. \nFor information on what items to bring\, please see our handy checklist. \nThis camping trip is always a Scout favorite! \nSpots are limited\, only 72 beds are available. \nDue to the overwhelmingly successful Popcorn Fundraiser\, Pack One is covering 99% of the costs! \nCost: $1/adult\, $1/youth. \nRequirements to attend: \n\nPurchase tickets to reserve your spot prior to attending. Scouts who finish 1st – 3rd overall for the entire pack will receive a trophy.\nDesign Awards\n\nFor those scouts who care more about the appearance of their car versus speed\, we have four design awards to be distributed to the entire pack: \n\nBest overall design\nMost realistic\nBest Scouting theme\nMost unique or funny.\n\nRules\nPlease remember to follow the rules which are included with the car kits: \n\nNO PRE-BUILT PURCHASED DERBY CARS!\nThe car must not weigh over 5 ounces\nOnly powdered graphite can be used as lubricant\nCars must be 7” long (length of the original block)\nWidth between wheels must be 1 3/4” (width of the original block)\nA 4 3/8” wheelbase (distance as measured between original block’s axle slots)\nAll other rules included in the derby kit or at this link.\nDerby Cars must be completed & turned in for check in\, weigh in & storage Friday February 27th 6pm-8pm at the Holly Lake Campsites. \n\nAny Derby Cars not meeting the rules may be fixed/adjusted & re-tested. If they still fail\, they may still race\, but no award may be earned. \nIf you have any specific questions about the rules or derby in general\, feel free to email leadership and we will gladly answer your questions. \nVery\, very basic emergency car repair materials will be available\, do not arrive needing extra weight\, or graphite. \nPlease remember that the Pinewood Derby is to be a learning experience for your scouts to build and show their car (as much as age appropriate). Do not purchase a car or race kit. Do not build the entire car for your scout. Neither of those teaches your scout any skills and it is unfair to the other scouts who worked hard on their car. \nBack this year we have the Adult Race! Rules are the same for Scouts & Adults. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Summer Camping Trip at Cape Henlopen State Park!\n\nFriday Evening August 28th 4pm thru Sunday August 30th 12pm\n  \n \nThis event is limited due to the size of the dorms. If we get overwhelming registrations\, we can add another dorm. \nWe will be staying in Cape Henlopen State Park Barracks/Dorms; \n\n15 people per dorm\nFurnished with 15 twin beds per dorm\nAir conditioning\nCentral bathhouse with showers\nCentral mess hall includes\n\nLarge dining area\nFull-sized industrial kitchen\n\n\nIndoor recreation space\nOutdoor campfire ring\nOutdoor volleyball net\nWalking distance to the main beach\, The Point\, and the playground\n\nReservation Costs will cover the Site\, Saturday Breakfast\, Lunch\, Dinner\, Sunday Breakfast\, Pack Activities\, depending on which reservation option you choose; \nOption #1 – Friday & Saturday Overnight – $40 per person. \n\n\n\n\n\nIncludes all Meals (Saturday & Sunday) & Activities.\nFriday Evening meal is on individual campers.\n\n\n\n\n\nOption #2 – Saturday Overnight – $30 per person. \n\n\n\n\n\nIncludes Saturday Lunch\, Dinner\, Sunday Breakfast & Activities.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is limited due to the size of the dorms\, 45 spots available for Option #1 & 15 spots available for Option #2. \nIf we get overwhelming registrations\, we can add another dorm.
